This album is special to me. It was so hard to not make this "self titled". Over the months I really had to put my heart on the line and feel the effects of how it felt to be without the person you want, and to write this album, it's called "Love, Rico". I'm basically tryna find myself again after being so wrapped up in infatuation, it tells a story, at the end I basically figure out that I've pretty much wasted my time.

I wanted to a more 2000's feel to my music. My mind still lives in that era. This album is a different experience from my last 3 albums. I decided to take a break from the urban touch and I wanted to become more contemporary. But at the end I still wanted it to sound like, me.

This is one of my first albums that came quick, literally, 7-8 weeks and i had an album. I feel as if god works in mysterious ways. Everytime I asked for a new song he gave it to me. Not saying immediately but, patience is a virtue.

I wanted to write an album that completely expressed what was in my heart. It's definitely a "Ricology" aftermath. This album represents my strengths, my weaknesses, my wants, and basically my reality.. This album is that.

False Ego is an amazing producer, he literally produced the whole album, Like I said god works in mysterious ways and I thank god that he directed me to you.

first I just want to thank GOD for letting me wake up everyday to do this. It's almost unbelievable how you continuously give me that opportunity. I feel as if this is the album that I've been wanting from myself since I started this music shit. I just want to thank my family for being my support. Thank you to my inspirations. Thank you to the 2 producers who made this album. Thank you to the people that listen to my music and love what I do and want me to keep going. I never had a huge fan base, and that's okay. I do this for myself mostly, I'm honestly a big fan of myself. No support was all the support I needed....
